Rooibos is a good source of antioxidants and is the only known source of a potent antioxidant called aspalathin while also containing others like nothofagin, vitexin, isovitex, orientin, isooreintin, luteolin and quercetin. Rooibos tea is rich in several minerals including iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc and sodium, as well as trace elements like copper, manganese and fluoride. Pure and natural it contains no additives or preservatives. It is a naturally calming substance and help to maintain healthy skin, teeth and bones.

Ginger is a known diaphoretic, causing one to sweat. By increasing the production of digestive fluids and saliva ginger helps to relieve indigestion, gas, pains, diarrhea and stomach cramping. Ginger is a circulatory stimulant and has anti-clotting effects, promotes good digestion, is antispasmodic, has a sedative effect, reduces nausea, motion sickness and vomiting.
